Responsibility-Centered Discipline
Responsibility-Centered Discipline (RCD)
-
RCD is a proactive discipline model that emphasizes the development of students' self-control, responsibility, and respect for others. Through RCD, we encourage students to take ownership of their actions, understand the impact of their behavior on others, and learn constructive ways to resolve conflicts. This approach moves beyond traditional disciplinary measures by equipping students with valuable skills that help them succeed both in school and in life.
-
Research shows that when students learn to take responsibility for their actions, they build critical life skills like problem-solving, empathy, and resilience. With RCD, our goal is not just to reduce negative behaviors, but to foster a school culture of accountability, integrity, and mutual respect. By working together, we can create a supportive environment where each student feels empowered to make positive choices
